Learn the basics of MIG welding including machine setting, work angle, travel angle, travel speed, and arc length. Supplies are included. Proof of DD214 or military status required to enroll. This program qualifies for the Non-credit Strategies at Work grant from the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB). Grant funds cover the full cost of tuition and required safety equipment. Students will receive boots, a helmet, jacket, gloves, and safety glasses. To enroll, call 815.835-6258. (Ages 18 & Up)
